Colourful one off screenprint of four cats wearing glasses

Printmaking is where process meets play. I work mainly with screenprinting and lino, drawn to the rhythm, layering, and unexpected textures each technique offers. Every print is a small act of repetition and reinvention.

Cranky Cats

A series of 4-layer hand-pulled screenprints exploring character design through expressive feline forms, bold expressions and colourful layering.

Look ThroUgh, Look Within

Inspired by Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s iconic short story, this lino printed wallpaper design draws from the protagonist’s growing obsession with the patterns on her walls. Layered, intricate, and deliberately unsettling, the design echoes the visual and psychological tension in the text , where hidden figures and shifting motifs reflect a slow, surreal descent into unraveling. What appears decorative at first glance becomes claustrophobic, mirroring how the mind can distort the everyday when trapped and unheard.

Charlotte Perkins’ “The Yellow Wallpaper” depicts the protagonist’s fixation on the wallpaper as a metaphor for her mental unraveling. The intricate patterns and hidden figures within the wallpaper mirror the complexities of her own mind, offering visual representations of her internal struggles. This connection between her emotional state and the seemingly lifeless patterns on the wallpaper underscore the profound impact of mental health on one’s perception of the surrounding world, turning ordinary subjects into mirrors of inner strife.

Seeing one’s internal struggles reflected in inanimate objects is seemingly surreal but common phenomenon. Our mental state alters our perception of the physical world around us, blurring the lines between the tangible and intangible.
For this project, explore this phenomenon by creating a wallpaper design drawing inspiration from the use of symbolism in “The Yellow Wallpaper”, as well as from personal experiences.

Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses

Lino prints putting a darker twist on childhood rhymes.

Abstract lino print artwork depicting multiple overlapping outlines of people running, centered around a chaotic, circular shape with the text "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" scribbled within.
Illustration of a coffin with the text "We All Fall Down" and a figure inside, set against a textured red background.
Black and white illustration depicting figures holding hands in a circle, surrounding the text "Here we go round the mulberry bush." The figures' limbs are exaggerated, and the composition is dynamic and energetic.

Two Birds, One Stone

Experimental lino prints exploring themes coexistence of 'good' and 'bad'.

Abstract artwork depicting two stylized bird-like figures in contrasting red and white on the left, and red and black on the right, with flowing lines and dynamic shapes.
Black and white abstract print of a bird in motion, with expressive lines and textures.
