Hi there!

I’m Anvi and I’m an analogue illustrator and animator based in London.

My passions as a visual communicator lie in our shared human experiences of love, loss, and growth and translating them into a visual form.

OUr PhilosoPhy

This is a studio where hands lead the way. Where scissors are trusted, paper gets torn, paint spills (a bit), and ideas take shape through making, not overthinking.

I’m a multidisciplinary analogue artist — which is a fancy way of saying I like doing a bit of everything. Sculpting, drawing, painting, cutting, pasting, printing, stitching, stacking, sometimes binning, often starting again. I call it curiosity with commitment.

I don’t believe in picking just one lane. Why should I, when every material, every process says something different? Being a jack of all trades doesn’t mean I lack direction — it means I’ve got range. It means I adapt, invent, problem-solve, and experiment, always with intention, always with care.

This is my space for process, play, and emotion in all its messy, layered forms. No medium is off limits. No feeling too abstract to find its shape!

CrankyCats

A group of white swans with orange beaks swimming on dark water.

This painting depicts a quiet gathering of swans, rendered in layered oil glazes to capture the subtle complexity of their plumage. While often perceived as pure white, each swan is composed of soft tonal variations: ivory, cool grey, warm cream, and hints of muted blue.

It’s a meditation on illusion. On the stories we tell ourselves about purity, stillness, and belonging.
Look long enough, and the surface starts to tremble.
